Brisela, Voice of Nightmares

This is from the card game Magic the Gathering. I don’t play this game, but I like some of the art. This is the most recent drawing of mine, and it took about seven hours total. In the game, you have to combine two separate cards to create this guy, so I followed the same idea by drawing half of Brisela on one piece of paper and the other half on another piece of paper, so this picture is twice as big as any of my other drawings. I think it turned out really well, but it was by far the most difficult one to draw; the wings were very frustrating and it was hard to maintain the right amount of symmetry.

The reason this image has better definition is because I didn’t scan it with a printer like I did for my other drawings. My other drawings are laminated with plastic protection, which makes it hard to take a good picture of them because it creates a glare.
